
Lets take a closer look at the menu:
General: Manager Home, FAQs(Helpdesk), Documentation, Support Forum, Links to store
Store Settings: Change general information about your site, store terminology, store messages, shipping and payment info.
Configuration: Templates(if switched on), Master settings, splash page, ancillary pages, links, picture pages, reuseable menus.
Payments: Set up payment types, and cart options such as tax, coupons, discounts, shipping
Shipping: Set up shipping options
Categories: Add, Edit, Delete, Re-sort, Move Products, Collections, SubCategories
Products: Add, Edit, Re-sort, Delete, manage 'Also Recommend', manage 'Price Range Search'
Collections: Create collections of products based on Product, or Category, or as a Project. Added to template on request.
File & Picture Utilities: Upload or delete webgraphics, product images. Also tools for optimizing photos.
Content Management: Create content pages using a WYSIWYG editor
History: View customer list, orders, and order tracking. Also download list of customers or products in .CSV format
Wish & Gift List: Option for customers to make lists of their favorite products. Added to template on request.
Recipe Program: Create recipes or use for projects. Can link items to store products. Added to template on request.
Security: DIYeStore Admin access only
When you are ready to set up your store, click on '
General', and then '
Documentation'. This will provide a step-by-step process of setting up. We highly recommend that you print out your documention and go through each step in order by clicking on each link at each step. We know how exciting it is to be setting up your store, and you may want to hop around checking everything out. However it will help you avoid confusion if you follow it step-by step.
I will go through some of these steps in further detail as I make up the tutorials.
